Wool Give Away

About a month ago, my sister, Lynda, told me she would like to dye some wool, thinking she could sell it at the upcoming farmer's markets.  I tried to talk her out of it as my one and only experience of dying was a disaster.  I explained how hard it was and the colors never worked, etc., etc.  Luckily she ignored my good advice.  Lynda researched various companies offering vibrant dyes and found a good source for wool.  Now she has about 30 beautiful colors!

Lynda has set up an Etsy shop and to get started, is offering a give away.  This packet contains 15 different colors in 3" x 3" squares.  These pieces are perfect for small applique and offer a good color range.  They are tied together with one of Lynda's hand-made beads.  Would you like to add these to your stash?  Here's how:

Click on over to Lynda's Blog and leave a comment.  She will choose the winner on Friday.

  1. I saw, I went, I commented. And begged. Much fun.

  2. Thanks for the heads up. Was planning to buy (nothing like supporting local artisans) anyway so I can make your city bucket. Quite enjoyed the class I took at Whimsy Cottage.

  3. Not only did I go - I WON!!! Thank you SO much for sending me there. Your sis is delightful and I am delighted, and so we are a good pair. HURRAY!
